Viewing back up files

Q: I did a COMPLETE backup in cpanel of every single folder/file I have online (i.e. folders including .cpanel, .trash, public_ftp, public_html, etc...

After I unzipped it, it seems like everything is PERFECT... all of my folders/files are exactly where they should be. HOWEVER... it seems some of the files have the following added onto it: 0000644. So for example, the file "lang_main.php" has been changed to the filename "lang_main0000644". I notice this did NOT occur to all of the files though. For example, NONE of the files had this problem that are in the immediately public_html/datingsite directory...

Do you have any idea how I can make a backup WITHOUT having the 0000644 added onto the files? I can't figure out why it added it, and why it didn't add it to all files.. It seems like it only added it to files that are buried inside a number of folders (i.e. public_html/datingsite/language/lang_english/

A: The reason for those being add to the end was to hold the permissions value for cpanel. This is standard for all cpanel users so you do not have anything to worry about unless you're going to use a hosting provider who does not use cpanel software. In most cases, it's very rare.
